Today I’m bringing you another episode of War Stories: Tales from the Front. I especially excited about this interview for two reasons.
The first is that this time my interview is with Zach Even-Esh. Zach has been a huge influence in my life as a trainer, a businessman and a man.
Zach is all heart and his passion for training and his athletes is palpable. In addition he is dedicated to helping those who are willing to help themselves. Without always knowing it, Zach has provided much of the encouragement and inspiration that has kept me plugging away at this business, even when I didn’t necessarily think I was capable.
Four years ago it was a letter of gratitude to Zach that started me on this particular path and today it is my extreme pleasure to further extend that gratitude by offering this interview and sharing his message.
The second reason I’m excited is that today I’m showcasing some new intro and outro music provided by my good friend and fellow trainer, Steven Blondeau, and his band, Shed. The song is entitled, Guy Like Me. You can find more of Shed’s music on their website.

To our imperfect perfection,
P.S. Zach has authored an amazing tribute to Physical Culture and one of history’s greatest lifter George “the Russian Lion” Hackenschmidt. It’s called the Russian Lion Power Course. Check it out and let one of the strongest men of all time take your lifting to a whole new level!
