Thinking you're more than you are is not so painful. Being shown that you're less than you think you are, is.
But it's a good hurt, right?
Good in the sense of it's being the first step toward facing reality. Good in the sense of course correction and truly becoming the best you can be. It also sucks. It hurts and it's embarrassing. No one likes to be informed that they've been a fool.
I have been a fool.
I thought I was doing one thing, when in reality I doing quite the opposite. This past week, my eyes were opened. Agoge Fitness Systems' Progressive Strength classes have not been what they should be. The experience has been lacking and it's entirely my fault.
Luckily, I've seen the error in my ways and I can begin to make changes in the right direction.
AFS is a lot bigger than it once was and the old ways don't work so well. It's time to take what makes us strong and blend those qualities with proven methods that will improve our class experience and the results you'll see as a member.
New changes will be implemented gradually. Expect a more cohesive class structure, a more dynamic class, and a better overall experience.
Getting smacked around by reality hurts, but it is in no way injurious. In fact, it's the best thing that's happened in a while.
